all right by me !!! - Just as the dentist correctly notes in his review, Listerine is a great disinfectant for killing bacteria in your mouth. This product can be used when you brush your teeth, and if you do that I would strongly suggest you do it the way the dentist suggests that you do. However, there is another use for these pocket packs of slender Listerine slices, and that is making your breath fresh.Right now I m using Biotene toothpaste for my teeth and gums, but Listerine is very useful under normal conditions. (I have cancer and my dentist told me to use Biotene for now.) Nevertheless, I still use these strips of Listerine in their pocket packs as a great--and I do mean great--breath freshener. They are easy to carry in a pocket because of the slender size of the pack in which they come, and they always do a great job of making my breath as fresh as it can be. I feel more confident in social situations after I have used one or even two of these Listerine mints. They dissolve almost instantly so you can use these instead of a Certs mint if you need to make your breath fresh very quickly. These are also sugar free and they contain no calories. They are also kosher if that matters to you.Overall, I can t recommend this product highly enough. Sure, it costs more than a roll of Certs, but it sure does do a great job of keeping your breath fresh as it can be. These strips last a while but use them before the expiration date printed on the package.
Listerine is a Great Product to Keep your Teeth and Gums Healthy - As a dentist of 20-plus years, I have seen the effectiveness of certain oral health products over a long period of time. Listerine is a product that has a postive effect on one s oral health, and perhaps one s health in general. I am recommending to my patients that they brush their teeth and gums with Listerine 2-3 times a day. Patients can still brush with toothpaste if they would like, but it really is not necessary, as brushing with a toothpste is no more effective than brushing with a toothbrush with water. However, when one brushes with Listerine, the active ingredients in Listerine start killing oral bacteria. Gentle scrubbing of the gums and teeth will kill or inhibit the bacteria that cause cavities and gum gingivitis. Done twice a day, Listerine will keep your mouth cleaner and healthier. Technique: 1. Pour a small amount of Listerine in one s mouth (or use these portable forms of Listerine) 2. Brush teeth and gums gently (with mouth closed to prevent the Listerine from leaking out!) for at least 1-2 minutes. 3. Gargle with the Listerine in one s mouth and spit out.4. Do not rinse off teeth5. Brush 2-3 tims per dayListerine is a good disinfectant. It will not only inhibit or kill oral bacterial that causes cavities and gum inflammation, it may also kill the bacteria and organisms that cause other diseases, such as colds and flus. Since using Listerine in this manner faithfully, my patients tell me they have less colds and flus. Listerine is a great product. Choose a flavor that agrees with you - (blue or green colors) avoid the original yellow tinted Listerine. It tastes terrible and you will not want to use it daily. Highly recommended for better oral health!Jim Konedog Koenig
